What’s in My Camera Bag?

March 22, 2017 Hanny 2 min read No Comments

One of the questions I get asked a lot is what kind of camera I use for my photos. Well, as a lover of photography, I don’t just use one camera or one lens for my photos. So to answer this question, I thought it would be best to demonstrate what I am currently carrying in my camera bag.

1) Nikon D3200

I love my Nikon. I got this beauty 2 years ago and since then I’ve had a hard time letting it go. Eventually I’ll need to upgrade, but right now I am very satisfied with this camera.

Specs:

Megapixels 24.2 MP
Camera Type DSLR, Digital SLR
Features , Built-In Flash Incl., Face Detection, Hot Shoe Included, Live View LCD, Pictbridge Capable
Package Type Single-lens Kit
Burst Mode (Max FPS) 4 fps
Sensor Size APS-C
Sensor Type CMOS
Video Resolution 1080p Full HD
Max ISO 12800
Camera Family D3200
Dimensions 3.1 inches
Focal Length 18-55 mm

2) Nikon Nikkor 18-300mm lens

My amazing husband got me this amazing lens for Christmas and I am in love with it. Instead of having to switch out my lenses from a 18-55mm to a 55-200mm, I now only need one lens to capture all my shots! It’s a bit on the expensive side, but what good camera/lens isn’t?? The best part is that mine has the VR feature, which stands for vibration reduction. VR = better photos (my hands are a bit shaky, so this feature is very convenient for me).

3) Neewer Filter Kit

Another amazing gift from my hubby. This filter kit is amazing. It comes with UV, CPL, FLD Filters, ND Neutral Density Filter Set (ND2, ND4, ND8), Carrying Pouch, Collapsible Lens Hood, Tulip Lens Hood, Snap-On Front Lens Cap, Cap Keeper Leash, and Microfiber Cleaning Cloth. Right now you can get all these items at an affordable price.

4) The Close-up Micro Lens Kit

If you are the type that likes to take close-up photos, then you may want to have this kit. I’m all about taking photos of spiders and flowers, so I use these a lot.

5) SD Card Case

I must admit, I am not the most organized person. So when i kept losing my SD cards, getting the SD card case was the best thing ever. This not only assures that I do not lose my SD cards, but it is slim enough to fit in my camera bag without creating a bulge.

6) Fujifilm Instax Mini Instant Film

I carry my Fujifilm in another bag, but have plenty of instant film in my camera bag. Since I travel a lot, I keep these in my camera bag in case I need anymore for my Fujifilm mini.

These are just a few of the items I have in my bag right now and I absolutely love them!
