If you haven’t read my past posts, I am a huge fan of Apps. Since many things are now accessible on the cellphone, Apps have been my life savers when it came to many things. Forgot a ticket? No worries, as long as you have it on your phone, you will be able to use it. Need to deposit a check or check-in for a flight? There is an App that will do just that. Hence, my love of Apps and why I recommend Travel Apps.
The following apps are travel apps I have used and personally recommend.
1) Wikitude
This app is truly amazing. Wikitude uses augmented reality to explore your surroundings. You can look for restaurants, use Wikipedia to obtain more information of your surroundings, use Trip Advisor to see what others recommend and you can also use the currency converter, which allows you to scan your money to see what the current exchange rate is.
2) Minube
Minube enables you to discover and share some of your favorite places around the world. This App also gives you recommendations from other travelers based on your traveling style. You can also search for hotels around the area at the best price. This is one awesome app!
3) The Entertainer
This App gives you some great deals and discounts to different restaurants, stores, hotels etc…For now the App is limited to certain locations, but if you are going to London, Abu Dhabi, Cape Town, Egypt or any other location available on The Entertainer, then this is the App for you.

We can’t do without apps, these days, can we. 🙂
I also want to thank you for showing Android apps. So many apps, that people share about, are iOS apps. 🙂
