Known as the “Psychic Capital of the World,” Cassadaga is a small community located in Volusia County, north of Deltona. A place full of psychics and mediums, Cassadaga has some interesting things to see and do. This 124-acre park offers visitors a blast to the past with the historical information around the park. They also have picnic tables, a play area, a boat launch and a beautiful path to walk through.

Horseshoe Park & Fairy Trail

The Fairy Trail is well known among locals, but any visitors to the Central Florida area will probably not know of this place. Full of gnomes, fairy wings, flowers, and oddities, this trail is sure to take you into an enchanted world of fairies.

Lake Helen-Cassadaga Cemetery

This may not be a spot for everyone, but its interesting to explore a city by the different myths they have. One such myth lies in Lake Helen-Cassadaga Cemetery and it goes by the name of The Devil’s Chair.

It is said that anyone who sits on The Devil’s Chair will hear the devil whisper. It is also said that if you leave beer on the chair, then devil will drink it and the can/beer will be empty in the morning.

C. Green’s Haunted History House & Museum

If you’re more of a museum type, then C. Green’s Haunted History House & Museum is the place to visit. Offering guests a look into history as well as a look into the oddities that exist in this world, this museum is sure to teach you a thing or two of the world we live in.

Inside the museum, you will find Native American Artifacts, The History of Cassadaga, Jack the Ripper and more.

Encounter Spirit Night Tour

If you would like to learn more about Spiritualism, Mediumship, and Physical Phenomena’s then this is the tour to take. The guide will take you to “hot spots”, where you can capture images of orbs and other spirit manifestations.

It’s been said that the Cassadaga Hotel is haunted, but nonetheless it is a great place to visit. Whether it is to check out their gift shop or to eat at their restaurant, this hotel offers visitors a glimpse of their history.
