Adjacent to the Hyde Park Neighborhood, You’ll find the Oxford Exchange. A European-inspired space featuring a restaurant, bookstore, coffeehouse, and shop with gifts. This is the perfect place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but if you’re wanting to try another breakfast spot check out Lady & The Mug. This fairytale coffee shop is right in front of Oxford Exchange. This coffee shop has swing chairs and a very magical vibe. About two minutes away from the area is The Henry B. Plant Museum, which is housed in the south wing of Plant Hall (the original Tampa Bay Hotel) on the University of Tampa’s campus.

The Henry B. Plant Museum is quite a wonderful museum to visit. The architecture is unique from the rest of the buildings in Florida. It also features original opulent furnishings and artifacts from the hotel collected by Mr. and Mrs. Plant on several trips to Europe.

This gorgeous hotel has a very unique architecture with marble hallways and has the original oak doors from when the building was erected in 1905. For a waterfront hotel, then go to The Westin Tampa Waterside. This beautiful hotel offers a gorgeous view. Another good hotel to stay in is the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay.
