Disclaimer: I received tickets courtesy of Madame Tussauds, but as always all opinions are my own.
A city well known for attractions such as Disney and Universal, it is no surprise that Orlando is a popular touristic city. Although there are many great attractions in Orlando, many of the attractions can be quite expensive and can ultimately leave your wallet feeling empty. However, there’s a plethora of fun, inexpensive attractions such as Madame Tussauds that will make your visit in Orlando much more worth while.
Madame Tussauds is a museum full of life-size wax replicas of celebrities and historic icons. What makes this museum so wonderful is not only the cost, but the amazing wax figures that resemble the actual celebrities.

When I made my way into Madame Tussauds with the family, I was surprised on how realistic the wax figures look. Not only did I get confused a few times thinking they were actual people, but there were times where I needed to touch them to reassure myself that they were not real.

Each room had a theme to match the celebrity, artist or historian featured, such as Andy Warhol. When I approached the Andy Warhol wax figure, I noticed that many of his creations were on display, giving the room a theme. The theme of the rooms would change as the figures changed.

Aside from taking photos with the wax figures, there were also activities in some of the rooms that entertained both adults and kids.

Some of these activities involved some skill such as the light bulb challenge featured above, while others were less about skills and more about interacting with the wax figures, such as sitting down with Jimmy Fallon. There were props in some of the room that would allow people to take fun photos with the wax figures.

Madam Tussauds was an incredible and unique experience that allowed us to capture wonderful photos of our trip, while including some of our favorite celebrities in the mix. Our walk through of the museum lasted for about an hour and a half ( we didn’t take photos with all the celebrities) and even though we were there for a good amount of time, we still wanted to see more. It’s so much fun seeing the replicas of celebrities that when it ended, we were sad not to see anymore.
After our visit, the family and I ended up walking around I-drive 360, which is right outside of the attractions. There are three attractions in that area – Madam Tussauds, The Coca-Cola Orlando Eye and Sea Life. The great thing about the I-drive 360 is that there are a variety of restaurants and shops to check out.
The cost of Madam Tussauds is $25 if you buy your ticket online and $49 if you get a ticket for all three attractions.
