Q1. Thank you for the opportunity to interview you today! Can you please tell us your name and where you are currently located?

Q2. What do you currently do for work?
Mirela: I run a travel blog.
Q3.How long have you been at your current job?
Mirela: 5 years.
Q4. Does your remote job offer benefits such as healthcare etc.?
Mirela: Yes, because I’m registered in France and pay taxes.
Q5. What do you do for healthcare?
Mirela: I complete my (national & EU medical) coverage with SafetyWing travel & medical insurance when necessary.
Q6. Do you work set times or work whenever?
Mirela: Whenever, depending on the workload and my short and long term goals.
Q7. In total, how long have you been working remotely?
Mirela: 4 years.
Q8. When did you decide that you wanted a remote job rather than an office job?
Mirela: 2018
Q9. Do you find it easy to travel and work remotely?
Mirela: Yes
Q10. How many countries or cities have you been to since working remotely?
Mirela: That’s a very long list. To give you an idea, only in 2020 I sailed from the South of France along the coast of Italy, crossing into Greece, covering all the Ionian Islands, then crossing the Corinth Channel into the Aegean to explore the Saronic Islands & a bit of Peloponnese…
Q11. There are so many people who are currently wanting to go remote. What tips can you offer to those looking to work remotely?
Mirela: One needs to know their goals clearly and also develop self-discipline.
