When I was in my early 20’s, I got to ride a motorcycle for the very first time. I remember being nervous about the whole experience, but my friend was very much confident that I would enjoy the ride (he was the one steering the motorcycle, while I rode in the back). My heart was beating fast, my hands were shaking and I was holding on tight to make sure I wasn’t going to fall. I thought I would scream out of fear, but instead of fear, I felt a sense of freedom and joy. The whole experience was simply amazing wind in my hair, the butterflies in my stomach and the need for speed.
I had forgotten about this moment in my life, until a few weeks ago, I read an article on motorcycle tours. Yes, you read that correctly – motorcycle tours. Aside from Segway tours, walking tours and bus tours, Europe has motorcycle tours that introduce tourists to different parts of Europe. Whether it is Rothenburg, Germany or Switzerland, these tours offer a unique experience to anyone willing to go on a motorcycle tour. As I kept reading the article, I started to imagine what it would feel like to go on a motorcycle tour through Europe, wind in my hair, the thrill, the view, the butterflies and everything I had experienced on my first motorcycle ride. I could even imagine wearing a nice fly motorcycle jacket, like the fly jackets that Bike Bandit offers.
Everything would be perfect and I would once again feel a sense of freedom and joy, just like I did a few years ago. I started to look into the tours, into the bikes and even into back-up information such as tire replacements and where to get the best bike parts. If I ever needed to get Metzeler tires for motorcycles, I could get them on Bike Bandit, which seems to be cheaper than the other places I looked into. They have everything from jackets to all different parts, such as Honda dirt bike parts. Aside from all the amazing gear, they also have an awesome blog with motorcycle maintenance do’s and dont’s, and an awesome article on thermal imaging. As someone, who is now wanting to go on a motorcycle tour around Europe, I found myself wanting to know more about motorcycles. Bike Bandit seems to have all the information and equipment I need to familiarize myself with bikes. Hopefully, by the time that I do go on a motorcycle tour, I will have much more knowledge of motorcycles and have a nice fly jacket for my trip.
