Every year, we celebrate love on Valentine’s Day. Whether we are celebrating with friends, family or our other half, this day is meant to be shared with those that we love.
However, companies have made this into a big shopping opportunity offering customers heart-shaped chocolate boxes, extravagant bouquets of flowers and so much more. Every year, millions of people drop good amounts of money to show their love showering the other person with heart-shaped items.
On the bright side, even though it is a big shopping opportunity, it’s also a good opportunity to take advantage of some Valentine deals, especially if you are wanting to do something more adventurous rather than a movie and dinner.
Fun Activities to do on Valentine’s Day
If you’d rather spend money on experiences rather than on items, then you have come to the right place. Below, you will find a list of things to do along with some specials. Some specials may be affiliate links, which does not change anything for you, this just means I get a commission if you buy.
Monster Truck Safari

One year for Valentine’s day, I took my husband on a Monster Truck Safari. Not only was there a great deal on Groupon, but my husband enjoyed it! As someone who loves nature, he got to be outdoors and also got to see plenty of animals.
Sky Diving
one of my friend’s boyfriend took her sky diving and they later went to dinner. Not only did she enjoy it, but it was a great way to spend Valentine’s Day. What better way to say I love you than in the air?
if you want an alternative and live in Orlando, we have iFly, which is indoor sky diving. Not only is it fun, but it’s a cheap alternative! Right now Groupon has two flights for one starting at $74.
Paintball
Who says you can’t shoot your loved one with paintballs on Valentine’s Day? This activity will sure ignite some friendly competition and it’s perfect for anyone who enjoys physical activity.
There’s plenty of deals for paintball, but one that seems to be popular on Groupon is the Paintball USA tickets.
Escape Room
Try to escape a room with your loved one during Valentine’s Day. It’s a great way to put your mind to work and also work together to find a way out.
Kayaking

If you live in Central Florida or plan to visit during Valentine’s, there’s a state park that allows you to make your own pancakes and then go kayaking. Of course, you don’t have to be in Florida to go Kayaking. There’s plenty of places to go kayaking and some offer some amazing views!
Helicopter Tour

For a more unique Valentine’s Day, take a helicopter tour and explore your own city! If you’re in another city, even better! Although, it wasn’t quite Valentine’s Day, I did take a helicopter tour of Savannah with my hubby for our anniversary, which was quite a thrilling experience and great way to celebrate.
Beer or Wine Tour

If you’re looking for an indoor activity, why not go on a wine or beer tour? Most brewery and winery tours are free and they also have some samples.
There are plenty of ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day, whether it’s going bowling or ice skating. There’s a variety of fun activities and great deals for Valentine’s Day.
