It’s that time of the week again – Friday! It’s been a long week for me, especially since I was just in the midst of Hurricane Irma. Thankfully, there were no damages, my power is back on and everyone I know is safe. For this weeks Fri-YAY favorites, I’ve discovered a few good deals, good places to eat and some fun places to go to. Here are my favorites.
1.Clothes Mentor
Before the hurricane, I went to Clothes Mentor for a sweater. Clothes Mentor sells second hand clothes that are in like new condition. Instead of finding a sweater, I found shoes for $2 each! Shoes that would have cost me around $20-$40, only cost me $4 total.

The two pairs I bought looked brand new. I wanted to buy more shoes, but they didn’t have enough in my size. The other great thing about this store is that you can sometimes find clearance items for a $1. So if you are on a budget and need clothes, this is a terrific place to shop.
2.Mount Dora Historic District
During Labor Day weekend, I ended up going to Mount Dora Historic District. John and I were there for a museum, but unfortunately it was closed for renovation. We did end up walking around and found a cute little Farmers Market and numerous of restaurants. From Peruvian to German, there were plenty of restaurants to choose from. They also have some great mom and pop stores as well.
3.Krungthep Tea Time
I am all about tea, so when I went to Krungthep for lunch, I was amazed at the large selection of tea and drinks. Not only did they have the Matcha Milk Tea (Matcha being my favorite), but they also had some delicious sandwiches to choose from. My friend and I decided to swap sandwiches, so I got to try two different sandwiches – the Gra-Prow Chicken and the Satay Satay sandwich. The Gra-Prow was definitely one of my favorites and I can’t wait to come back to this delicious place again.
