Happy Monday!
I know, I know…it’s never happy if you are stuck in a cubicle, but rather than seeing it as a curse, see it as a blessing. You have a job, a job that one day you will leave for a better one. As someone who loves to travel all day, every day, I have to remind myself of this as well. I don’t work in a cubicle (thankfully!) and do have my own office, but no windows. I am, however, thankful for my paycheck.
Anyways, now that I got to explain why it should be a happy Monday, let’s talk about Instagram and Hashtags. Instagram is a great platform for growing followers and also a great way to connect with people. From sharing delicious food from Vietnam to beautiful stylist photos, there is plenty to share and like on Instagram. However, if you are looking to grow your followers, Hashtags are the way to go.
When you share a photo on Instagram, you are sharing it with people who already follow you, but if you are wanting to reach other people, who are not following you, then using a good, relevant Hashtag is the way to go.
Hashtags I like and how to use them:
#Myunicornlife
This hashtag has become my all time favorite. Usually those who use this hashtag share colorful, cute photos. However, I’ve used this hashtag for most of my photos, just because I feel like my life is a unicorn life…full of wonderful, colorful moments.
#CandyMinimal
This is also used for colorful photos. Photos that remind you of candy! I mostly use this for just that colorful photos that reminds me of candy.
#Travelgram
One of the many travel hashtags I use in my posts. This hashtag is to be used in all your travel photos.
#flashesofdelight
People have used this one to show things that they take pleasure in. Things that make them happy.
And now for my very own hashtags….
#Travljunkie
Have you ever noticed how the link to my blog is missing the e in ‘Travel’? Well that’s where the hashtag came from. I don’t use this often, but it is something that I’m trying to use more.
#TravelMisfit
This blog is ‘Travljunkie: The adventures of a misfit’, so why not have a hashtag with the word misfit in it? I thought this was fun and hopefully I’ll be using it a lot more in the future.
What are some of your favorite Hashtags?
