While some cities have beautiful orange leaves showing that the season has changed from Summer to Fall, Florida doesn’t go through much of a change.
Fall in Florida is usually the same as summer – hot, humid and perfect for the beach. However, if you’re spending time in Central Florida and are looking for Fall activities, we do have plenty of those!

Central Florida may not have the Fall vibes, but we do have some great Fall activities for those wanting to get into the Fall spirit.
Fall Things to Do in Central Florida
Through October and November, Central Florida has a bunch of fun Fall activities perfect for the whole family. From pumpkin patches to drive-thru festivals, we have some great activities for the Fall.
Theme Parks
Central Florida is known for the theme parks and the theme parks are known for their holiday decorations. Here’s a few things happening in the theme parks during the month of October and November.
1. Disney Springs
Checkout the Fall decor at Disney Springs! Aside from the decor they also have a few Fall themed drinks and snacks.
2. SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular
Saturday’s and Sunday’s through November 1st, SeaWorld has their Halloween Spooktacular. This event has a trick-or-treat trail stocked with candy and adventure. They also have a special Halloween breakfast!
3. Gatorland
Join Gatorland for their Gators, Ghosts & Goblins event now through November 1st. This is great fun for the whole family, offering visitors costumed characters, multiple photo opportunities, a trick-or-treat trail from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., and the Gatorland Express for a monster-sized scavenger hunt!
4. Taste of Epcot
This isn’t exactly a Fall activity as we have this at different times of the year, but it’s a great way to enjoy International Food and Wine and it is also an event that lasts until November 22nd, 2020.
Pumpkin Patches/Farms

Central Florida has plenty of farms with fun Fall activities and plenty of Pumpkin Patches to get your Pumpkin from.
1. Southern Hill Farms
Enjoy all the fall activities at this wonderful farm. Pick out a pumpkin, drink some frozen apple cider, take some fall photos and so much more! They have a bunch of fun games for both adults and kids as well.
2. Long and Scott Farms
Well known for Scott’s Maze Adventures, Long and Scott Farms offers visitors the opportunity to get lost in a corn maze! They have a 6.5 acre corn maze and they also have a 0.5 corn maze for those who want to try a smaller maze.
Aside from their corn maze, they also have a market and some food vendors as well.
3. Santa’s Christmas Tree Forest Farm
Known as Santa’s Farm due to their Christmas trees, this farm also gets into the Fall spirit! They have a pumpkin patch, a magical maze, horse and pony rides, hay rides, bounce pillow, giant slide, barrel train rides and more!
Festivals
Central Florida loves festivals and we have plenty of them.
1. Delaney Street Baptist Church
Due to the Pandemic, we haven’t been able to have a lot of crowds around. This didn’t stop Delaney Street Baptist Church from having a festival!
To make sure everyone is safe, they have a drive-thru Fall Festival, which allows you to get some festival goodies as well as enjoy the festival from your car.
2. Painted Oaks Academy
From October 3rd – 31st, Painted Oaks Academy has a Ponies Festival as well as a pumpkin patch and corn maze.
Halloween Related Activities
Fall activities are great, but you can’t forget the Halloween activities! Central Florida has plenty of Halloween activities.
1. Scream n’ Stream
This is sure to scare anyone! The Scream n’ Stream is a drive-thru experience. Wondering what’s going to come out from behind the tree? Who is going to be next to your car? What lurks in the night?
2. Scream-a-Geddon
A horror park in Dade City, Scream-a-Geddon offers visitors 6 haunted attractions.
3. Howl-O-Scream
Located in Tampa Bay, Howl-O-Scream is the number 1 haunt attraction in the area. They have coasters, scary shows and Open-air scare zones that take over the 335-acre park.
4. The Haunted Road
A drive-thru Halloween theatrical event, The Haunted Road offers a spooky experience to visitors without leaving their cars.
Central Florida is full of Fall and Halloween activities perfect for every family member. Whether you prefer spooky events or a simple walk around the pumpkin patch, Central Florida has all sorts of events and activities.
