Enchanted Fairy Doors at Leu Gardens

October 17, 2020 Hanny 2 min read No Comments

Harry P. Leu Gardens is a popular 50-acre botanical oasis a few minutes from Downtown Orlando. Aside from having all sorts of flowers and plants to look at, Leu Gardens also offers visitors some fun events, such as the Enchanted Fairy Doors.

Running from August 1 to October 31, 2020, the Enchanted Fairy Doors exhibit features twenty, one-of-a-kind, whimsical fairy doors. Each door is in different parts of the gardens and all you have to do is find them. Each guest will receive a map of the fairy doors along with a narrative of each fairy.

Since the gardens are quite massive, it was kind of hard finding all of the doors, especially when there were other people looking for them as well. However, that’s what made this exhibit so much fun to experience.

Although you get a map to find all of the fairy doors, some are hidden in spots you wouldn’t have thought to look. Some were high up, while others were lower to the ground.

The doors are great to find due to how pretty they are! The work of art on some of the doors is simply amazing and wonderful to look at.

The map gives you numbers as to where to find the door, however since the gardens are quite huge, I ended up jumping numbers.

I didn’t mind jumping numbers though because it gave me more of a chance to look around and explore the gardens.

Behind the map, there’s also a list of each fairy door and who it belongs to. For example, the first one belongs to Mariannah, which means water.

It’s a great way to display these doors and also a great exhibit for the whole family to enjoy!
