Christmas Presents under $20 for the Traveler

December 20, 2015 Hanny No Comments

Christmas is fast approaching and the one problem we seem to have during this time of year is what to get our families, our friends and our significant other.

However to make things easy on my readers and myself, I compiled a list of things travelers will want and need – all for under $20.

Scratch Off World Map Deluxe Edition Poster

My mom gave me one as a gift and I am in love with my map! It is full of different colors due to the fact that I’ve been to so many countries. Each continent has a different color and it is a great visual of all the places the traveler in your life has been to.

The Carry on Cocktail Kit

If the traveler in your life likes a good drink, then this is definitely for them! This little cocktail kit has a recipe, spoon, sugars, bitters and everything they need to make a good cocktail.

How to Travel the World on $50 a Day

Matt from Nomadicmatt.com wrote this amazing book on how to travel the world on $50 a day. This book not only gives the traveler in your life insight on how to travel smart, but also how to travel cheap.

Old World Map Globe Ornament

This is more of a want than anything. Although, I am not a super fan of ornaments, this is actually one ornament I would get for myself and any traveler in my life. Not only does this remind us of who we are – travelers, but of how much we love to travel!

Compass Necklace

Not only are compass necklaces helpful, but they also look good around the neck. This is for sure going to put a smile on any travelers face.

Mini Portable Charger

You can never go wrong with a portable charger. Travelers are always on the go and most of us depend on our phones to get us around. Without our phones, most of us would be lost in a strange country with no one to call and no access to our apps. So if you want to get something useful for the traveler in your life, get the charger.

From a compass to a simple pair of socks, there are many gifts you can get a traveler. Don’t overthink it and remember it’s the thought that counts.

Happy Holidays everyone!
