I am all about TED talks. Whether it is to hear how someone became successful or why you should start a business, TED talks have inspired me to do a number of things. So as a lover of TED Talks, here are 5 talks that will inspire you to travel.
1) Hidden music rituals around the world by Vincent Moon and Naná Vasconcelos
Vincent Moon travels the world capturing astonishing music and rituals the world rarely sees. He talks about his adventures and the reason behind filming different rituals. This talk definitely makes you think about what else is out there and shows a different side of travel.
As someone who is passionate about music and learning different cultures, I find this very inspirational and gives me even more of a motive to travel.
2) What’s left to explore by Nathan Wolfe
Nathan Wolfe talks about everything we have explored in the world and suggests that there is still more that can be explored. This inspirational talk lets us see that no matter how many things we have already discovered in the world, there is still so much more to discover.
3) Stunning photos of the endangered Everglades by Mac Stone
Mac Stone shows some amazing photos of Florida’s Everglades. Through his stunning photographs, Stone shines a new light on a neglected, ancient and important wilderness showing that the swamp isn’t a hindrance, but a national treasure.
4) The surprising thing I learned sailing solo around the world by Dame Ellen MacArthur
Dame Ellen MacArthur sailed around the world on her own carrying everything she needed. When she returned, she came back with a new insight as to how things work around the world. In this inspiring talk, she talks about her travels as well as what she learned.
5) My year reading a book from every country in the world by Ann Morgan
Although Ann Morgan did not spend a year traveling the world, she did read books from every country in the world. In this talk, she explains how she managed to get recommendations, how she was able to get these books and how she traveled the world through books.
