When I think of Clermont, I think of the Florida Citrus Tower and Southern Hill Farms. However, Clermont has so much more to offer than just a beautiful view and an amazing farm.
Of course, the farm itself has plenty to do and the view from the top of the Florida Citrus Tower is simply wonderful. If you haven’t tried either, put them on your bucketlist because they are spots you don’t want to miss.
Aside from that though, Clermont has a bunch to offer visitors, especially when taking a trip to their historic downtown.
So if you’re looking for things to do in Clermont, Florida, here are 10 awesome spots you won’t want to miss.

The Clermont Historic Village

The Clermont Historic Village offers visitors a look into the history of the pioneering families of Clermont. Here you will find Preserved historic structures, including a school, train depot, WWII-era Quonset hut & 2 homes.

Although, I loved everything I saw, my favorite building to visit was the Original Cooper Memorial Library.
Waterfront Park

A short walking distance from the Historic Downtown is Waterfront Park, which is a lakefront park with a playground, fishing pier and a paved walking trail.

There’s also a Caribbean bar & grill near by excellent for anyone looking to eat by the lake.
Montrose Street Market

Located in the Historic Downtown of Clermont, Montrose Street Market is a good hall with burgers, gourmet coffee and so much more.
The Downtown Exchange

A market full of local artisans, The Downtown Exchange is your one stop shop for gifts and even snacks! You can get cookies, drinks and even some cute jewelry.
Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards

One of my favorite vineyards and the only one close enough to me, Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards offers visitors facility tours & wine tastings, plus regular music & food festivals.
Presidents Hall of Fame
This museum is all about the presidents and their families. Here you will find a small replica of the White House as well as a replica of Mount Rushmore.

If you want to see a variety of citrus and animals all while riding on a monster truck, then the Showcase of Citrus is the place for you.
I once took my husband here for Valentine’s Day and he absolutely enjoyed this experience.
Southern Hill Farms

Southern Hill Farms is a family owned and operated u-pick and harvested blueberry farm. This is such a great farm to go to for Fall events and also for blueberries.

During the fall, they have an event where you can pick your own pumpkin and even take photos with their sunflowers. They also have blueberry mimosas as well as other yummy blueberry goods.

A 226 foot structure, The Citrus Tower is one of Florida’s first attractions. Visitors can take the elevator all the way up and from there they can see the beautiful view.
